Apparently HP has removed the BIOS option to set the computer to autoboot on power restore. Is there any way to fix this, or has HP truly screwed me over? Are there BIOS updates available that will unbreak this? Hacks that anyone knows to poke the relevant memory?
Please note: I am only interested in replies about setting the BIOS option, not in discussions of UPS's etc.
Thanks

hi
If the option is not available, we cannot do much here!
Hp does not give the exact configurations of all the bios, it will often be general indications like this
If you can't find the option, it's because hp may have decided not to put it for protection reasons.
If you have a computer on, and you have micro cuts, the computer may enter into start / stop loops, and there is a strong risk of damaging components...
Maybe on the bios update side, to check if the correction is made or not!
