Hello,

I am facing an issue with the partition table on my HP Pavilion x360 14-dy0000 running Windows 11 (23H2), and I need some assistance from the community.

Problem Overview:

  • Device Model: HP Pavilion x360 14-dy0000
  • Operating System: Windows 11 23H2
  • Issue: The partition table is recognized when I analyze the disk from Windows, but it is not detected by other tools such as Ubuntu installer, GParted, etc. This suggests there might be an issue with how the partition table is being read outside of Windows.

Actions Taken:

  1. Disabled Secure Boot.
  2. Checked that the partition is GPT and booting in UEFI mode.
  3. Disabled hibernation.
  4. Running GParted live.
  5.  Cancelled BitLocker disk encryption.

Despite these steps, the issue persists. Could anyone please suggest additional troubleshooting steps or explain why the partition table is not being detected by other operating systems or tools?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,

Julien

The intel Rapid Storage Protocol is the source of this problem, blocking the computer in a RAID mode (that make unreadable the partitions).

The solution I have found is to download on windows the intel optane RST logiciel, and to use it to disable the RST protocol. After that, the partition are available.
