Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

We have since 15 days an incident related to the KB5025221 from Microsoft for 4 models for 300 devices :

- HP Prodesk 600 G6
- HP AIO ProOne 440 G9
- HP Zbook FireFly 15 G8
- HP Zbook Studio G9

When the KB5025221 is downloaded and installed, it causes a BSOD during the reboot, and it is impossible to boot on the system.

For the moment we have blocked the Windows update via GPO on the park. The only solution we found is the following to install KB :

- Exclude the NetBios from the PC in the GPO.
- Create a restore point manually.
- Download the .cab of the KB here: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB5025221
- Install the .cab in powershell
- Reboot the machine
- Reset the cache and the Windows Update services in order to make the OOBE Windows Update GUI understand that the KB has been installed in powershell and not in user mode.

The HP Probook 450 G9 model is not impacted by the KB and does not cause BSOD on reboot.

The BSOD dumps do not give anything significant.

Indeed it indicates a driver problem but does not indicate which elements are impacted whether it is software or hardware.

I would like to point out that the entire fleet is up to date via an HPCMSL and an HPIA.No update via FTP HPIA online offers me new driver/Bios/Firmware update. No software is installed on the stations that could generate virtual drivers.
