Checking in with an OMEN 875-0011na - had an initial BSOD earlier this week followed by a boot loop today that persisted through a full Windows reinstallation.
I've disabled defender using this technique and have - so far - been up for 10 minutes, which is about 9 minutes longer than it's managed since the boot loop began.
Will keep an eye on this thread and report back - I'd just like to nth the call for HP to chime in on this with something official.
