Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

When i recently updated the BIOS a white LED on the base plate stand flashed once. I have never seen it lightup before and would like to kmnow what it is for.

I have searched HP and the itenet and cannot find any reference to it.

Any thoughts/comments would be much appreciated.

I see you want to know about the white LED on the base plate stand flashed once while the Bios update. It is normal with the LED light flashes when updating the Bios.  

 

Updating the BIOS is recommended as standard maintenance of the computer. It can also help to improve computer performance, provide support for hardware components or Windows upgrades, or install specific BIOS updates.

 

BIOS update contains feature enhancements or changes that help keep the system software current and compatible with other computer modules (hardware, firmware, drivers, and software). BIOS update also provides security updates and increased stability.
