Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all, this is my first time on the site.

On about October 3rd 2019 my 9 month old HP Pavilion was working great at the end of the work session a windows update notice came up. I clicked update and when the reboot was done i got the blue screen that a fatal error had happened that was as far as i could go. I tried a few times to get it working. I took the lap top to the local computer repair and he saved the files in it but all of my operating apps and things that were loaded on the computer were gone. He loaded a windows 10 to get me started. Told be to go to blue stacks to find the programs to reload onto lap top.

If I had known this was going to happen i would not have taken it to him. How do I get all of the programs that HP had on it when I purchased the computer. Best Buy said they could not help me said i needed HP recovery media?
