Pavillion
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I don't use my laptop often (it is a Pavillion x360 m convertible), so I am unaware of any Windows and software updates that has happened. Right now, I am having a series of problems from clicking an icon (it's unresponsive or slow) to shutting down this computer (from the windows icon on the bottom left of the screen). I would really appreciate any help from this community to help me with this situation. Thank you!.

@Mantra25 -- a few points:

  1. if it is less than 12 months old, and you have a problem, then the HP Warranty will repair/replace your computer, at HP's expense;
  2. Power-off the computer, power-on the computer, and start tapping ESC or F2 or F10, until you see a menu.  Hopefully, one of the choices on the menu is the "HP Hardware Diagnostics". Run this program, especially the "short" (a minute or two) disk-drive diagnostic. Avoid the "long" diagnostic -- it can drain the residual life out of a "failing" disk-drive.
  3. If you rarely connect it to the Internet, then when you do, the computer could get "busy" downloading and installing all the Windows security-updates.  While it is doing that, your computer could feel "sluggish".
