It sounds like your laptop is experiencing multiple issues, including performance problems, potential malware, or system errors. Here are some steps you can follow to diagnose and potentially resolve these issues:

1. Boot in Safe Mode:

   - Restart your laptop.

   - As it starts, repeatedly press the F8 key (or Shift + F8) until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears.

   - Select "Safe Mode with Networking" and press Enter.

2. Run System Diagnostics:

   - If your laptop has built-in diagnostics, run them to check for hardware issues. This can typically be accessed by pressing a specific key during startup (like F2, F10, or ESC, depending on your laptop model).

3. Perform a Virus Scan:

   - Use an antivirus program to perform a full system scan. If you don't have one installed, consider using a free option like Malwarebytes or Windows Defender.

4. Check for Software Issues:

   - Task Manager:Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. Check the Performance tab to see if any process is using excessive resources.

   - System File Checker:  Open Command Prompt as an administrator and type `sfc /scan now` to check for and repair corrupted system files.

5. Check Disk for Errors:

   - Open Command Prompt as an administrator.

   - Type `chkdsk /f` and press Enter. You might need to schedule a disk check on your next restart.

6. Update Drivers and Windows:

   - Ensure all your drivers are up to date. You can do this through Device Manager.

   - Check for and install any pending Windows updates.

7. Revert to a Previous Restore Point:

   - Open Control Panel.

Go to System and Security > System > System Protection.Click on System Restore and follow the instructions to revert your system to a previous state.Reset or Reinstall Windows

:If the above steps don't help, you might need to reset or reinstall Windows. Make sure to back up your important files before doing this.If these steps don't resolve your issues, it may be time to seek professional help or consider hardware replacement if your laptop is old.
