My supplied graphics card Nvidia GT 420 has no driver updates since 2018 and is causing a problem I want to upgrade to a newer card but discover that it has to be compatible with the legacy BIOS because there is no UEFI. Please can anyone advise which make and models graphics cards are compatible with my PC. HP Pavilion Elite 590uk. Thank you

Hi, @Wildlifepics
I tried to help another forum member with a similar model, and suggested a nVidia GT 630 since that is a legacy video card.
It did not work, and I was completely surprised by that.
If this is your PC's model series, these were the supported graphics cards offered by HP.

Unfortunately, the Radeon graphics card driver updates only go through 2016, so you are better off with the one you have now.
I have the Radeon HD 6570 in one of my HP PC's, so I know that is where the driver support ends.
I will say that I have not had one problem with the Radeon HD 6570 card and the newest build of W10.
