Are there any lemon laws covering Hp desktops PCs? I bought this computer for work from home and have had nothing but constant issues within the first 11 months of owning it. Ive been on the phone with support for 20+ hours over the last 11 months and have many different case numbers. Each time ive been told "this should fix your issue, no more problems!" and every time issues pop again shortly after. I first had an issue with the power on my PC shutting off when i would remove things from the usb ports, even when i would safely eject them (I was never able to get a reason why or a solution to this). Then ive had issues with the computer freezing, mainly when trying to do updates or come out of sleep mode but sometimes randomly, this would lead to me having to manually power down and try to reboot, but it would get stuck in boot cycles where either it would fail to boot properly and id have to try again or the boot process would freeze. This would go on for 30 minutes sometimes until i could finally get it to boot properly. NOT VERY HELPFUL FOR WHEN YOURE WORKING( I was walked through the re image process of the OS but this still has not solved my issues). Lately its been restarting at random times for no reason, ill walk away from the pc with it just on the desktop, no apps running, and come back to it having restarted or ill be in the middle ofworking and boom it restarts, (tech support again has tried to resolve this many different ways and told me the problem should be fixed) it is NOT fixed, i still have random restarts and its been getting stuck in the boot cycle. Ive been told the next option is to re image the os AGAIN. Then if that doesnt work send it in to be hardware tested. I USE THIS TO WORK I CANT GO THAT LONG WITHOUT IT. Not that its reliable anyway, i regret ever buying this PC and wish i had gotten something else, it was meant to replace an 8 year old pc that i may start to use again instead of this since its slow but IT WORKS. Its unacceptable that i have so many issues and tech support never solves it and the option is to put the os on fresh or send it in for maintenance, i didnt buy this not to be able to use this, id just like a working PC. What can i do about this? Im about to buy another year of warranty coverage, not because i want it but because i know ill have more issues with this computer in the future. I should have returned this as soon as i could have. Im over trying to have this fixed just for issues to reappear. Am i stuck with this unreliable PC?
