I wanted to add a 2nd M.2 NVMe SSD on my PC for more space, however I was too late when I noticed that there is only one spot and that is the one which the original is in. And I was looking for a solution, and hoping maybe there is a way I could use a PCle to M.2 NVMe SSD adapter with the desktop I have.

Greetings @Kla61
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Please provide a specific HP Product number.
2Z6E2AV is generic. There are about 90 HP PCs listed using this product ID.
Your PC could have an Erica6 MB. This MB has one PCIe x1 slot.
You could possibly do a second M.2 NVME SSD, if the PC has the Erica6 MB, in the x1 slot using a PCIe to M.2 PCIe x1 adapter.
A PCIe x1 slot would limit data transfer rates. But this drive setup would still be much faster compared to a slow platter HDD.

Greetings @Kla61
Thanks for the additional info.
Many HP Support sites are somewhat dodgy these days. I can't find your specific PC's MB specs.
This HP Site list MB specs for the Erica6 MB. The Erica6 MB SSID is 8906.
Check HP System Information in Windows. This app should provide the MB ID and other system details.
My previous thoughts on doing the M.2 NVME SSD upgrade should apply if your PC's MB is an Erica6 MB.
