Hi, I'm new here. And I need help.
I don't know what happened but the power button on our HP monitor is actually displaying an orange light whenever I'm turning it off. It's not doing that before. Whenever we turn off our monitor, it has NO lights on it already. But now, it has this orange light. The orange light is not blinking by the way.
Aside from that, our menu button, the minus & plus signs buttons, and the OK button are not working.
We can still use the monitor by the way. It's just the buttons, cause I am actually adjusting the brightness of ouo monitor at night, but now I can't do it.
Please help. Thank you!!!
PS: I don't know if I chose the right board. Ty!

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
What is the exact model for your monitor?
I recommend you unplug the power cable from the back of the monitor and then connect it after a minute and check if it helps.
If you continue facing the issue, I recommend you factory reset the monitor the OSD menu on the monitor.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!
Cheers!

Thank you for your response. As far as I can see, on the lower left side of our monitor it said: HP Compaq LA2205wg -- not sure if that is the model.
Right now, I'm still using our computer. It's working fine, but the monitor buttons are still not working.
Please help. Thank you!

Did you follow the suggested steps in my previous post? If yes, and still the issue persists then, I recommend you contact support as it looks like a hardware issue.
Here is how you can get in touch with tech support.
1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
Cheers!
