HP Recommended

So I'm using hp prodesk 600g1 twr 

I insert two 8g ram,4g and 2g ram works for so time and the freeze and changes to Blue saying Machine encounters problem needs to restart 

So 

I wanna know if my computer is compatible with 1600mhz 

Is there any settings i have to do after inserting the new two 8gb ram 

I also ran a test on the ram and its all passed
