Pop up appeared access blocked. Due to security reasons called support they said I was a victim of malware I don't have the $45 to subscribe to their help program and I am in the. Middle of my masters degree final exam I need. Help what can I do I don't have the money everything is backed up do I factory reset I don't know what to do please help me

If you have contacted the number that is offered in a block of this type, then you absolutely must not be fooled
it's generally done for, it's a scam, and you risk losing a lot more
If everything is backed up, then reinstall following one of the options offered, if compatible use cloud recovery
Software recovery options (Windows 11 and Windows 10)

Thank you! By including the link "Software Recovery Options (Windows 10), you also solved my problem, "Widows 10 quit starting on ou..." posted by me, RW324, 8-11-22!! I first tried the Startup Repair Function, which ran okay but did not fix it. Next I selected "Restore from a System Restore Point." This fixed the problem. Then I went to Settings for Windows updates and found one dated 8-11-22 that is awaiting restart. I set the restart time foe 2:00 am 8-13, so hopefully it will successfully restart this time. I hope this helps others with similar issues as this.
