Hello,

I have many of these PC for my company, they run a specific product we sell. Over the past month, I have had two calls from customers with the exact same issue when booting up.

"HP Sure Start detected corruption in the Intel Management Engine Firmware. Select continue to complete the full recovery process of the Intel Management Engine Firmware."

  • They click continue
  • get HP logo screen
  • then the firmware load screen gets stuck at 50%. It is trying to get version 12.0.45.1509
  • This happens over and over again with no solution.

Can anyone please help!

Enter BIOS SETUP.  Is there an option for the "Intel Management Engine" to temporarily disable it?

If you replace the disk-drive with a disk-drive with one with your "standard configuration", does it boot correctly?

Is it possible that the disk-drives have failed?
