Hi, Keith:

HP has retired support for your PC since it is more than 10 years old.

Unfortunately, the only documentation I can find for your PC that still exists is the product specifications.

hi

The manuals are often the same for several models

otherwise, those for this series are perhaps quite close:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-p6-2300-desktop-pc-series/5295969/model/5327850/man...

you can also search here

https://www.manualowl.com/p/Hewlett-Packard/Pavilion-p6300/Manual/62801

This may not match I found a manual , attachments

Hi Paul

Thank you for your help.

I had already found the manual you have sent me the link for unfortunately that is for product WE157AA whilst mine is WE163AA. the motherboard in the 157 manual is an M2N68-LA whilst mine is an MSI Iona 1.0 according to the Windows 10 system info panel. On the motherboard it says MS7613 ver1.0

Thank you for looking though

Hi Promethee

Thank you for your response.

I think the manual I have (for WE157-AA not WE163-AA) will have to do

Regards

Keith

  • Maximum memory only if using 4GB DDR3 DIMM modules.
