My P7-1047 is shipped from factory with Win7 Home, which does not offer Remote Desktop. Hence, I resorted to reset the whole PC with Win7 Ultimate. Not an upgrade but a new install. All went well except for two Device Manager alert: Marvell Console ATA Device and SM Bus Controller. Both of which shows no installed drivers. WEB Research lead me to try a Win7 driver from the Marvell website, dead end. Some posts tell us that this is the network adaptor device. Cant really relate to this info but hp.com mention that this computer is using the IPISB-CU mother board, built with a RTL8171EH-CG gigabit ethernet controller, for which Win7 ultimate installed a driver which is functionning properly (it appears) appart from the fact that WakeOnLAN aint working. So, my conclusion is that perhaps my WOL implementation aint working because of a missign driver. Not sure about that but until I resolve All drivers issues I cannot assume to be able to fix my WOL issue.
The Question: Where can I find properly working drivers for both devices Marvell Console ATA Device and SM Bus Controller ?
Any clues anyone ? thanks for your help.

Just found the solution to both driver problems Marvell Console ATA Device and SM Bus Controller.
Marvell Console ATA Device: Marvell-91xx-sata-controller-6gb-driver-for-windows-10.40/ also win7
SM Bus Controller: www.intel.com chipset-software / Intel Download / Windows 7 / 10 version I needed the Win7/10 version for my system. May be different for other PCs. Still cannot understand why those drivers do not install at OS deployment, but at least, no, we have a decent solution. Hope this will help someone. Cheers

Hi:
You need this driver for the smbus controller...
This package provides the original driver for the Intel Chipset Family SMBus Controller solutions in supported models that are running a supported operating system.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp57001-57500/sp57417.exe
The Marvell device...I don't see where that was part of the original equipment for that model, so HP probably does not have a driver for it.
I suggest you get the hardware ID from the device, google the ID and see if you can find a driver for it.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...
