Just sharing. I have 6 x SK HYNIX 4GB PC3-12800E CL -11-11 installed. I added 2 x 4GB PC3-12800E CL-11-13 to the remaining slots to complete the Quad Channel config. I encountered DIMM Error on DIMM Slot 5 and 6 on Boot/POST. I followed the Load Sequence indicated on the Manual and Side Cover of the Unit BUT still encountered Memory error. Everything works before adding the addt'l RAM. So what did I do wrong. Took me a couple of tries but I figured it out.

Cause:

If you follow the Load Order: 1-5-3-7-8-4-6-2 for DIMM Slots 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8. Memory Pairing will not be in Order.

Solution:

Fill in 1st Channel -  DIMM 1 & 2 (Front Slots) Black and White

           3rd  Channel - DIMM 3 & 4 (Front Slots) Black and White

           2nd Channel - DIMM 7 & 8 (Rear Slots) Black and White

           4th Channel - DIMM 5 & 6 (Rear Slots) Black and White

Note: Mixing Memory Modules with the same Capacity and Speed BUT with different CAS Latency will cause Memory Error on POST.
