SM Bus Chipset driver
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just received my EliteDesk 705 G4 mini.  In my Device Manager, I noticed that the driver for the SM Bus Controller is malfunctioning.  Please provice assistance in obtaining the driver.

Hi:

I have zipped up and attached the driver you need for the smbus controller below.

Download and unzip the file to its folder.  Do not do anything with the files in the folder.

Go to the device manager, click on the smbus controller needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.

Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and the driver will install.

Hi,

Thanks.  I was instead able to download the "HP Support Assistant" and download the necessary driver for my SM Bus Controller driver.  It worked.

Thanks for the zipped file anyway.

Best regards,

James
