Product: OMEN 25L Desktop - GT12-0240m CTO

Hello, 

 

I purchased a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU to replace my Ryzen 5 3500 - I came to discover they were intially incomptaible due to the Mobo's specifications (listed here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06611431)

 

I also see there isn't any BIOS updates available on the mobo's webpage - What can I do?

there are updates here, but probably not made for, I did not check the corrections
so probably no choice, if you have already tested the processor, and it does not work then just what is mentioned

That sucks 😕 Yes I did install the new cpu to a black screen, telling me its incompatible 😞

Hopefully intel fixes this! Otherwise I'm going towards other mobos for future products....

no intel won't change anything, at best it would require an update from hp, which may never happen for this processor
