Product: Pavillion a1640n / RC663AA
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I'm looking for any documentation to download or if someone has on a file that has the motherboard layout and specs for my HP Pavillion a1640/ RC663AA.  I want to upgrade the RAM and need to know type and slots.

your computer was manufactured in 2006, and has 2 slots for RAM, supporting up to 4GB per slot.

 

How old is the disk-drive?

To compare, do you drive your automobile with tires that are just as old -- more than 10 years?

Do you drive until a tire "blows" ?

 

I recommend that you replace the computer, to get at least "double" everything (RAM, CPU, disk-drive size/speed) and Windows 10.
