Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I am looking to add a graphics card to my HP M01-F0027na Desktop PC using the PCIe16 slot. The power supply is 180W so am looking for a suitable card within that power range.

Thanks

Retail motherboards come with service manuals; OEM motherboards do not.

HP will not supply such manuals to consumers.

Thanks WAWood for the info. Do you know where I can find a good pic of the actual motherboard ?

Thanks

HP does not provide this, so I have sometimes been able to get a photo by Googling the name or model of the motherboard.  If you can find how who made is (HP does not make motherboards), there might be info on their site.

@Bob-Moore,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

Your HP M01-F0027na (1D9Y2EA) is fitted with an Erica2 motherboard (SSID 8643), and a 180-watt power supply with p/n: L08660-800 "Power Supply - GNRC PSU 180W Entl18 SFF FR Gold" -please verify.

Look, there is nothing much you can do with a 180-watt power supply -except a GT 1030, unless you choose to upgrade your power supply, such as with a 310-watt power supply, with p/n: L10875-800, L03980-800 or L64961-800. There is also a 400-watt power supply with p/n: L04618-800 or 942332-001 and a compatible 500-watt power supply, with p/n: L05757-800, according to this source.

You can purchase one of these power supplies online, such as via eBay.

Going for one of the least expensive PSU/GPU upgrade options, I would recommend purchasing a 310-watt power supply via eBay to power an RX 6400, such as this affordable Amazon purchase example.

Kind Regards,
