Example: Pavilion all-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This problem has been plaguing me for months. I can't associate it with any updates or software installations. Whenever I restart or wake the PC from sleep, up to 3 CMD.EXE screens pop-up simultaneously and everything slows to a crawl. I have Malwarebytes installed and Windows Defender is up to date.

Hi@Gazza52, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand that notebook has an issue command prompt not a malware issue, WIFI  enabling the execution.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

Hi,

Thank you for your post but I don't understand what you mean.

When you say "notebook", do you mean "notepad"?

If it has something to do with Wi-Fi, what is the solution?

Thanks.
