I am trying to update to Windows 10, 20H2 but i do not have enough storage space to install it.
My Windows (C:) Drive is full and i am wondering if i can use the free space in DATA (D:) in which 910GB is free to use.
Please help! Thank you!

Sorry NO, Windows Update does not work that way.
Here are some things you can do to recover some of the disk space:

Also, the community Win10 Forums has the following suggestions:

Finally, there is a freeware app known as Wise Disk Cleaner. I use it every day to get rid of junk files: https://www.wisecleaner.com/wise-disk-cleaner.html

Not for Windows Updates, no -- as I said, it does not work that way.
You are certainly free to create folders and migrate large personal data files to that drive.
Also, I would create a Downloads folder on that drive and then go into your various Browsers and change their default saving locations to that folder. That way, whenever you download anything in the future, it will automatically go to that drive instead of filling up "C".
