Thank you for your response. I have responded to your questions to the best of my ability below:
- When was the last time the computer was working fine? Is still working fine - just won't complete the Firmware download. All other downloads have been performed successfully. At number of restarts have also been completed.
- What is the exact model for your computer? 24-g080a
- What is the operating system you are using? Windows 10 Home 64-bit Version: 17763.195
- How are you installing the firmware update? Via the HP Support Assistant as requested
- Are you facing any issues with the touchscreen? Not that I am aware of - seems to be working okay.
- Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer? No
- Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting? Network Check, Performance Tune-up Check & Operating System Check via HP Support Assistant

Thank you for the information.
I see that the HPSA is trying to update ILITEK Touchscreen Firmware. I checked and noticed that this firmware is not applicable to your computer. You can ignore this update.
