I have several HP Z8 G4 Workstations showing vulnerability 2021-A-0443 / AMD-SB-1009 (CVE-2021-26333) in a security scan.
The fix requires AMD PSP driver v5.17.0.0+ or AMD Chipset Driver v3.08.17.735+, but I cannot find this on the HP driver page for my model—only graphics drivers are listed.
Please provide the correct SoftPaq or package containing the updated PSP driver for this workstation, or confirm if it’s in a specific HP driver pack.
Thank you.

You're very welcome, Alex.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you if the PSP device isn't showing up in the device manager.
Is there an unknown device labeled as a PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller?
That is what Windows names the PSP device if it is missing a driver.
If so, you can manually update the driver from there.
HP only has exe files available.

Hi, Alex:
You can get the newest version of the AMD PSP Driver directly from the Microsoft Update Catalog website.
You want the first driver listed:
Since there is no executable and it is a cabinet file, I recommend you install the free 7-Zip file utility to extract the cabinet file into a driver folder you can work with.
After you install 7-Zip, right click on the cabinet file you downloaded and select 7-Zip from the list of items on the menu.
Have 7-Zip Extract to: and let it extract the file into its folder name.
After that is done, go to the device manager, click to expand the Security devices category where you will find the AMD PSP device.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that 7-zip created.
Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows the list of PSP hardware ID's supported by the driver.

I have also included the AMD Chipset driver from a HP HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2155m PC if you want to use that instead:

Thank you for all the good information. I downloaded the Cab file from Microsoft, extracted it, and there was a .cat file and
five other files. However, when I checked in Device Manager, I expanded the Security devices section, and I did not see the AMD PSP device. Can I drop these files into C:\Windows\System32\Drivers? Also, I could not use the attached file, sp153490.exe, because my company policy blocks .exe files. I was wondering if there is an MSI file I could use.
Thank you very much for your help. Please let me know.
