Product: Evo W6000 Drivers Windows 2000
Operating System: Other

Just recently did clean reinstall of windows 2000 on my COMPAQ EVO W6000 desktop, but not with the original discs, as there were none.  Of course none of the drivers were on the standard Windows 2000 install.   So now I need the drivers for this desktop to make it fully functional.  I can not locate them on this site, can anyone please guide me in the right direction?

Hi:

 

HP retired support for that model series, which is why you can't find a support page any more.

 

I found this 3rd party site that lists drivers for that model.

 

https://www.driversforhp.com/download-hp/compaq-evo-workstation-w6000-drivers-free/

 

While the drivers state they are for XP, many of them will work on W2K as well.

 

I did download a couple from that site, and used the free 7-Zip file utility to explore their contents.

 

They seem legitimate.

 

However, here is the link to the entire HP FTP site and you may be able to download some or all of the driver file numbers they list directly from there.

 

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/
