I am trying to install Windows 10 and they say I need drivers for my computer that Microsoft was unable to locate on the HP website. What drivers are needed and where do I locate these?

Hi:
Unfortunately, your PC is not supported by HP for W10, which is why there aren't any W10 drivers for it on the support page.
Below is the link to HP's W10 support policy for PC's.
Your PC was made prior to August of 2013 -- 12-Sep-2012.
https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c05195282
That doesn't necessarily mean that you can't install and run W10 on your PC.
It just means that you may have to use W7 or W8 drivers for some of the hardware to work properly.
But if there is some reason that you are unable to install W10 at all, unfortunately, I wouldn't know why that would be.

Who are "they" ?
> I need drivers for my computer that Microsoft was unable to locate on the HP website.
I find it strange that "Microsoft" (we are back to that "they" person) was searching a competitor's web-site.
Usually, device-drivers for Windows 10 are either included on the Windows 10 Installation Media, or are downloadable via Windows Update. So, there is no need for HP's web-site to "duplicate" those files.
> What drivers are needed and where do I locate these?
Open "Device Manager", and look at the "tree" of hardware devices.
It should be obvious as to what hardware does not have a compatible device-driver.

Any advice welcome, dont fancy rebuilding each machine if there is a quick fix.
System Restore causes the OS to corrupt and results in the OOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG screen.
The reboot is infinate with same OOPS.
So if any of the experts can assist then brillant.
