Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am running an HP Envy 750-477c and have been with o problem for several years.

However, I recently tried to update y graphic drivers, but the wrong ones were installed by the AMD installation program.  The result is a black screen and I have to "safe boot"  to remove the "new" driver and Windows replaces it with a generic driver that does not fully utilize the GPU.

I cannot find a way to locate and install the original drivers, which worked for several years and utilized the full capabilities of my GPU.

Can anyone help with this?  TIA . . .

Hi:

I have the same model Radeon R7 450 graphics adapter in my HP 8200 Elite CMT that I installed from my Dell Optiplex 7050 MT PC.

I used this driver from this reputable 3rd party website, and it works great.

Otherwise, you will either have to use the original driver that came with your PC, or the generic one that Windows installs.

Thanks for offering that solution.

Unfortunately, when installing the driver, the screen went blank, so the driver did not work.

Unless I did not wait long enough . . . I am constantly concerned about that . . . but it should work quickly, shouldn't it?

Thanks!!!

You're very welcome.

Yes, the driver should have worked without any problems.

I guess you will have to use the older HP driver.
