Hello Everyone,

 

I have been tasked with building an XP box for testing purposes at my office.  I have built a DC5750 with 4 GB ram, running Windows XP SP3 32 bit OS.  I have been able to find all the drivers except for one.  The SM Bus controller.  I have tried all 4 drivers listed on HP's site but none seem to work.

 

I have a device ID of PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4385&SUBSYS_280A103C&REV_13\3&B1BFB68&0&A0.  I figured it would be a quick matter of googling but I was wrong.  I have even tried running DriverMax.  It detects the driver is not installed, says it installs the proper driver but it always shows with a bang in device manager.

 

Can anyone help me out with this?  Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!  Thank you all and have a great day!
