Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I tried to delete the temp files through the omen gaming hub application.

I did not know that the 'Downloads' folder was also there.

I gave 'Clean' along with the recycle bin and now some important files are gone.

I checked for any backup and previous versions, but unfortunately none are available.

I also asked ChatGPT and tried with 'Recuva' app and 'Microsoft recovery tool' but the files are not recovered as expected.

HP contact support through whatsapp is taking too long to process this.

Is there any other way i can get these files again?

Greetings

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Recuva is a decent file recovery App.

You might want to search the Web for other free data recovery software to see how it goes.

The last, probably very expensive, data recovery option would be to search the Web for a professional data recovery service.

I suggest you immediately discontinue using the PC to preserve existing deleted data on the system disk.

And, I don't know, the HP data deletion software may wipe the data when the data is deleted. So the data may be unrecoverable.

Regards
