I have a Pavillion HPE-180t desktop and I replaced the hard drive, but now I don't have the Cyberlink Power2 Go application which was originally provided when I purchased the computer.  How can I obtain a instalation package for Cyberlink Power2 Go?

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, none that I know of.

On the couple of HP PC's I have where the Cyberlink Power2Go software doesn't work (got the same message as you did), I use this free DVD burning software.  I have used it for years.

CyberLink Power2Go is an imedia burning software that allows users to burn data, music or video discs. CyberLink Power2Go offers support for CDs, DVDs, HD DVDs, and Blu-ray discs, and also includes features for disc copying. This package is available for supported models running supported operating systems.

Hi,

Unfortunately, this did not work. It produced an error message stating,

"This is not a valid HP drive. Setup will now abort."

I suspect this is related to the fact that I have replaced the original DVD drive due to hardware failure.

Original Drive was: HP BD-RE BH20L

Current Drive is: ASUS BW-12B1ST a

Is there a work-around for this case?

Thanks for your help!

I've tried the CDBurnerXP app to copy a DVD and it worked fine.

Thanks for all your help!
