Product: Touchsmart

Already tried rebooting router and modem, other WiFi devices working. No network devices are available to choose from. Tied many of the suggestions from this forum, resetting network, restoring to earlier point, etc. not working. Only wants an Ethernet connection which is nearly impossible related to where the modem must stay.

Since you already tried "many suggestions", I'm not going to start recommending stuff you've already done to waste your time; instead, suggest you work through this interactive tutorial (using another PC) to see if that can diagnose and repair the issue:
