Product: HP 110-000z
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

    I boult a new Hard Drive (500 GB). I plugged it in my pc, I get a black screen. I"m using my old Hard Drive to write this.

Could you show me how to get my mew Hard Drive working. I tried everything to make it work. Please help me.

Welcome back to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

Can you provide HDD, or SATA SSD purchase details? What did you buy?

 

Are you getting a blank black screen? No error messages such as "No bootable media found or disk error".

 

The new HDD should work if it is compatible with your PC. You have to install an operating system on the new disk or clone the existing operating system to the new storage device to boot to the new HDD.
