Hi @Joanie57,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're seeing a "No DVI Signal" message on your HP 2009m monitor, there are a few possible causes and solutions:

  • Check the cables: Make sure the DVI cable is properly connected to both the monitor and the computer. Try unplugging and replugging the cable to ensure a good connection. If the cable is damaged, try replacing it with a new one.
  • Check the input source: Ensure that the monitor is set to the correct input source. Press the Input Select button on the monitor and select DVI if it's not already selected.
  • Check the graphics card: If the DVI cable is connected to a graphics card, make sure the card is properly installed and functioning. Try connecting the monitor to another computer to determine if the issue is with the monitor or the computer.
  • Check the monitor settings: Press the Menu button on the monitor and navigate to the Input Select option. Make sure it's set to DVI. You can also try resetting the monitor to its factory settings.

Update drivers: If the issue persists, try updating the graphics card drivers on your computer.

If none of these solutions work, it's possible that there's a hardware problem with the monitor or graphics card.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
