Hi Lil_Boy_Blue

My friend is going to burn the w7 iso to a disk for me and see if it works on my pc.

But for some reason my cd/dvd rom has stopped working. It was working last week and the pc has not been moved or had

anything spilt on it.  any music cd or video dvd I put in now it just makes a sound like its trying to work and then just stops??

The pics I sent are of where I have put "compmgmt.msc" in the run box and then clicked "disk management" so you see the partitions.

Hi

 

As his recovery partition seems to be under 4 gigabytes then that should fit on a DVD or smallish USB.
