What is the problem with HP and not providing Service Manuals?  I cannot risk breaking 1000.00 computers and need Official Service Manuals!  I work with lot's of people where I live, and always advise on what to buy as their new pc's, so why would I suggest buying an HP if HP does not support the people like me that need this type of simple support?

I used to love HP, but if things don't change will need to suggest for all my customers to buy another product! which is probably today because of this Service Manual headache!!!  I advise peopl ALL THE TIME on what to buy, so this is where it starts hp, let's get with it!  Where is the Official Service Manual for this pc, please?  I'm tired of wasting all my time searching for this stuff online, and youtube is full of so much missinformation it's unbelievable.

Thanks, pcpunk

Hi:

There is a service manual linked to the support page.   This one...

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04123788

The HP ProOne 400 G1 All-in-One, is the business PC model equivalent of the HP Pavilion All-in-One - 23-p110.

The only thing I can say is it would have been nice if HP had included the HP Pavilion All-in-One - 23-p110 to the title page...

Your the man Paul, HP is lucky to have you around.  Luckily again, this thing is  super easy to take apart, but still like to cover all bases before I dig into one of these.  The fan is bad, suppose I'll order one off amazon as usual, any other thoughts on that?

Hmm, I looked all over for this, exactly where is it on the support page?  You mean the support page for this exact AIO?  I see now, "The Hardware Reference Guide" I didn't think those helped, I thought they were like a parts guide or something, so I didn't even look at it.  Does HP feel the need to hide these LOL.  I feel much better that I have the official SGuide!

Thanks again.

You're very welcome.

Yes, I don't know why HP calls some manuals, maintenance and service guides, hardware reference guides, for the same thing.

They should standardize all the nomenclature.

I have noticed that they do combine service manuals for some consumer notebooks, desktops and AIO's with their business counterparts.

But normally, they list both models.

For example...take a look at this manual...they clearly label the consumer model series (15-ay###) and the HP business models (250 G5/ 256 G5)

Now, as far as parts...I like to get the product number and enter it in the box at the link below to get the parts list.

http://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx

The product number for the model you were asking about is:  J4V81AA

Looking at what the HP Part surfer indicates, you need this fan...so do your search by the part number.

739393-001Fan - Amber, Arch, Lugo

I checked the HP parts store and they don't have the part for sale.
