A month or so ago my HP Z440 wouldn't boot up, the problem was quickly solved by removing the storage HDD on my system. We later went to the bios to change the boot order and we also turned on secure boot. this resulted in the system outputting 6 beeps and showing no display.
Solutions we tried:
changing the GPU (we tested 3 different cards)
Removing CMOS battery
swapping CMOS battery
Changing the PCIe slot the GPU was in
GPUs:
AMD Radeon RX 580
Nvidia GeForce 210
Nvidia quadro fx 1800
We got to a point where the system doesn't output 6 beeps but has no display and the fans are spinning, when a key is clicked on the keyboard, it starts beeping 6 times again.
I have seen the post made by SDH about the Boot Block Recovery but I am hesitant to try it.
All help is very appreciated, thanks!
