I have installed a new ram (corsair vengeance lpx) and i would like to change their frequency, but when i enter the bios, there is no overclock page

I recently restored the pc to factory settings: before that moment i could see the overclock page.
What can i do?

Thanks in advance

Hi @EdoardoBottino

Welcome to the HP Forum.

It is interesting to see Corsair memory works with your MB.

The MB's BIOS does not offer memory overclocking options (Intel XMP).

The memory will probably run at 2133 MHz or 2400 MHz using retail memory modules.

There is a BIOS update for your MB at this Site but I don't know if this update would help.

Thank you for answering me @Bill_To
I tried updating the bios, but nothing has changed.
I still don't have the overclock page, or something to change ram frequency
The strange thing is that about one year ago, my dad has changed the ram freuqency from the bios.
Maybe he used a third part application? If this is possible, can you suggest me some?
Thank you again 😉

Hi @EdoardoBottino

My pleasure.

The 690 has an Intel MB. Intel XTU used to have memory overclocking options but they have been removed from the software.

I am not aware of any other memory overclocking software.

You would need the BIOS XMP option to change memory settings on an Intel MB.
