Product: HP Pavilion HPE h8-1220 Desktop PC

No signal to monitor from my Tower. Just stopped all of a sudden. When I press the power button, it whines a bit and then kicks in but no video . Please help. Thank you!

Hi @NJBravo 

 

The H8-1220 PC is circa 2011 or 2012.

 

I would say you have a hardware problem if the PC shows some signs of activity such as fans spinning but you have no video.

 

It is not possible to determine if the PC can POST without video output.

 

I don't know if it cost effective to troubleshoot this PC.

 

Have a local PC Tech take a look.

Yes it's older, but I Love It. I am going to get a CPU on ebay $30.00 I have been doing some research on No Functionality at all.  So I am going to give this a shot.
