Suddenly no sound output can be heard  after purchase & used for few days.

If new system then update from Microsoft probably caused problem

Bring up the device manager and look for error "icons"

 

Try the following especial the "roll back" feature.

You did not mention your system. It is a laptop"

Sanity Check:  Some laptops have a function key to disable sound which can be accidently pressed.  See if that is the problem.
