Omni 27-1058
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have tried in different ways to connect a second monitor to my HP Omni 27-1058, since there in no output HDMI on my all in one desktop I had purchased a converter from HDMI to USB but it still does  not recognize the second monitor, it's there a software issue? The monitor it's a HP Pavilion 32Q

Thank you,

In checking the support page for that model indicates it has both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports.

Therefore an adapter similar to one of these should be more than adequate to support a second monitor.

Plugable has an excellent reputation, BTW of working with Windows.  The HP Pavilion 32Q does honor the HDCP support, so it depends on what you are attempting to view, maybe.

To supplement what @TheOldMan wrote, the specifications for the motherboard state:

Expansion Slots

  • One PCI Express MXM slot that supports a PCI Express x16 graphics card (Generation 2 speed)

and:

Integrated video

So, you could install a graphics card that simultaneously allows display onto two monitors.
