So i tried using my hard drive from one computer on a different computer and it didn't start. So i put the hard drive back into my main computer and when i logged in my desktop was black and said "Windows 7 Build 7601 This copy of Windows is not genuine" at the bottom right. I didn't buy windows for this computer because the hard drive is from a past windows computer (I believe). I keep getting a pop-up window that says"You may be a victim of software counterfeiting". Please help.

Hi,
You have to contact Microsoft to work this out. The legal document says, you CAN'T use one license for more than one computer. In your case, you are using license from ONE computer to OTHER computer.
Regards.
