Hi:
That is really the only way you can do it--an in-place upgrade.
If you were to try and reinstall W11, you would end up with W10 Home again because Windows will pick up the W11 Home product key that is encrypted in your PC's BIOS.
Then you would have to change the W11 Home product key to the W11 Pro product key you have.
