You have to use the Microsoft tool that I zipped up and attached the other day.

 

Please re-read my instructions carefully. 

 

You would have seen that using some kind of tool to transfer the ISO file to a DVD or USB flash drive is required.

 

You cannot just copy and paste the ISO file to a USB flash drive, or it won't boot.

 

Or you can use another tool like Rufus.

Already done as instructed by you but now i am unable to retrieve my old product key by using showkey plus..

Please post what the showkey plus report shows without the key

 

Also post the full model number or product number of your PC.

 

You posted a model for the monitor, not the PC itself.

That is not good.

 

The specs for your model indicate that it came with W8 installed.

The W8 product key should have been in the BIOS and since it is not, HP must have installed the wrong motherboard in your PC for the models that come with FreeDOS, which have no product keys in the BIOS.

 

I don't know what to say other than to see if you can contact HP support in your country and see if they will send you a W8 product key, because of their error.
