Goes to 33% then it restarts beeps 8 times and say bios corrupted and then says it’s fixing it then it goes back to the start and loops

Try to recover the BIOS using a HP USB BIOS Recovery drive.

 

Download and run sp149478.exe on a different PC.

 

Make a USB Recovery drive on that PC. I have verified this works on my PC.

 

Connect the USB recovery drive to your PC. Start the PC.

 

The BIOS recovery process should auto start.

if i run this file on a different pc it will change the bios on that pc! as it is my samsung laptop. 

also i do not have access to windows on my hp omen as it is stuck on a bios update boot loop.

Hi @Safe3 

 

Running the HP BIOS update on a different PC will not try to install the HP BIOS on that PC.

 

The HP BIOS update .exe should give the option to create HP USB BIOS recovery media on the host PC.
