I was sharing files from my OneDrive and the recipient said the files were there and then gone.  So I clicked on restore to a previous date and it's been running ever since.  Other file docs will not save because the system is busy.

Welcome to the HP English Community --

If you have not yet done so,

You need to take this question to Microsoft and OneDrive support.

"There and then gone" might mean a couple of different things, including that the source files are indeed gone from the OneDrive server.

A lot depends on whether the data stored on the OneDrive server (at Microsoft) is the only copy of the data.

Microsoft does not usually lose OneDrive data.

It is a lot easier to lose track of the data on your side (stored / not-stored locally on computer, for example).
