I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing an Operating System failed on your HP laptop.

To assist you further, could you please share the exact model number or product number of your HP laptop and let us know when the issue first started? Also, please confirm whether there were any recent Windows updates, BIOS updates, or hardware changes before the issue occurred.

 

In the meantime, please try the following steps:

  • Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, external hard drives, printers, etc.) and restart the laptop.
  • Turn on the notebook and repeatedly press Esc, then press F2 to launch HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI).
  • Run the Storage Test and Memory Test. If either test fails, please share the Failure ID displayed.
  • If the hardware tests pass, press Esc, then F11 to access the Windows Recovery Environment and check whether Startup Repair or System Restore is available.

Please share the results of the hardware diagnostics and any error messages or photos of the screen. We'll be happy to guide you with the next appropriate troubleshooting steps.
