Pavilion P6230Y
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I turn the computer on I was getting a BSOD and it said “Unmountable Boot Volume” and when I tried to repair it couldn’t find the hard drive. I tried to check the cables were plugged in to the hard drive correctly but now the tower doesn’t seem to to sending a signal to the monitor at all. I was thinking the hard drive may be the problem, but I’m not sure that could stop the signal going to the monitor.

Hi

Unplug / disconnect as much as you can, then try again.

The CPU may have failed.

The RAM may have failed.

With no screen output an F2 diagnostic is pointless.

Eventually you may get error beeps or flashes to help.
