P7-1414 Recovery Disks

Good day,

Son's Hard Drive failed and no recovery disk or USB was created. Where can I locate a hard copy of the recovery disks?

Hi  David,

Unfortunately, it does not. Below is a screen grab of what is currently available. I have been searching to no avail. Looks like there is a page that offers if even for a fee but I am not able to locate it. any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Unfortunately, Recovery Media is only available for the original version of Windows the the PC originally came with - against the 'Selected operating system' in the blue banner, if you click the Change link, then select Windows 8 from the dropdown menu and click the Change button, you should find the 'Order Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB' option.
